Jack was alone for a long time. His father died in the line of Duty when he was 13 and his mother had been part of a Longbow task force sent to 'The Zig' during the massive breakouts... she didn't make it back. The streets were all he really had left, he fell in with the wrong crowd, The Skulls. They treated him like family, taught him how to survive when everything else was gone. He sold 'Super'and stole purses, broke into cars and buildings. Everything he now stands against...
Jack thought he had everything, family, money, power. He was wrong, dead wrong. During a raid on a warehouse, Jack was arrested by the Paragon Police Department, they of course found out who he was, his father and mother both heroes. They wondered what had happened to make him go so bad so quickly, and Jack told them... They left him to rot, not his mother or his father, he looked up to them as heroes as much as the rest of Paragon, but everyone else, the PPD, the Longbow, the organizations his parents had givent heir lives for. Not knowing how to handle the situation the PPD turned Jack over to the Back Alley Brawler, someone who was equally close to the streets of Paragon.
The Back Alley Brawler saved Jack, he got him into a drug rehabilitation program, visiting him almost every day. They talked about everything, from his parents, the Skulls, and what Jack wanted to do with his life. 'What do I want to do with my life..?' Jack thought to himself during these chats. He wanted to stop kids from making the same mistake he had, 'Clean up the streets,' he finally mumbled to the Brawler. 'Kid,' he said, 'I knew your parents had raised you right. You'll make a fine hero one day.' One day...
That day finally came years later. Jack had started working for Freedom Corps as a Science and Technology salesman, during a routine delivery one day he found a crate marked "Caution: Radioactive Alloy" He'd never seen a crate like this with any delivery. Jack decided to open it, to find out if a mistake had been made and to straighten it out. Inside was a black pool of reflective liquid metal, Jack reached down and cupped some into his hands. The metal appeared to disappear in his hands, he looked down and saw that it had not slipped through his fingers. Where had it gone?
A few days later Jack awoke and felt odd, he decided to consult one of the scientists on staff with Freedom Corps, he described his symptoms.. 'I feel like I don't know my own strength, I opened the fridge and the door swung around and slammed into the counter, I tried to shave this morning but the blades just wouldn't cut a single hair, what's wrong with me?' The scientists eyes grew wider, he had no idea what was wrong with Jack so he ordered a full body and bone scan. After way too much poking and proding and a hospital gown way too small, they found out what was 'wrong' with Jack. His bones and muscles were coated in a metallic alloy known as 'Impervium'
He knew where it had come from, and now Jack wanted to know the origin of that crate more than ever. He went for a chat with the man who'd saved him from a life of crim, the Back Alley Brawler. Jack showed him the results of all his tests, and as Jack said 'You knew I'd be a hero one day,' the Brawler said, 'Kid, I knew your parents, they were heroes without any kind of super powers like you now have. Make them proud, make me proud, don't let us down.'
'Don't let us down.' Jack thought to himself...
What brings you to the Galacto-Rangers?: I met a kid named Twilight Protector, someone has to look after him (( Been a friend of Pyroflash for a few years over different games, and he finally convinced me to RP ))
What will YOU bring to the Galacto-Rangers?: I know the streets, the streets know me. We can stop that robbery in progress before the money is in the bag. (( I enjoy teaming far more than soloing, and I am looking to get some RP experience and become more comfortable with it ))
